More work from the show - 9x 12 drawings

Here are the 9 x 12 drawings from the show. a lot of our gear is still in storage, boxes ( or missing... ) and our scanner is currently MIA.... but we just got these scanned drawings from Michael's digital archives.

If you are interested in any of these drawings or would like to see a larger image let us know what number you're interested in and we can send it along. ( we're trying to spare everyone the forever scroll of our previous posts....

new sign and a new floor!

We try and do as many things as we can for the space by ourselves. It feels good to know that you had a hand in just about everything you create. That includes hand cutting ( yeah I said by hand...) our sign and installing it. And even re-painting the floor so it looked nice and new.... i don't think the old floor was actually painted with floor paint... oh well we like the new color. you should come by and see it some time...

Thanks for coming out!

Thanks to everyone that came out last night to our inagural Show! The work looked amazing and the turnout was great and everyone that showed up had a great time. Special thanks to all of you from Brooklyn and Manhattan who took the train all the way up for the show! And Extra special thanks to my good friend Bobby Collins who put together 5 hours of killer music just for the opening. Bobby is an amazingly talented DJ and music composer who will rock a party until the sun comes up... We will be putting up the playlist in sections for all of you to enjoy over the next few weeks... For those of you that missed it we will be keeping the show up for 2 months while we get the rest of the space ready and we will have another reception and Michael will give a talk about his work next month on October 13th.

Another Busy Day

Well, today was another busy day, we finished the wall, got the internet hooked up, sent out a whole lot of emails and faxes, and even managed to do some client work. The Highlight of our day, however, was stopping by Michael's house for dinner and last minute show conversation, and our first look at his studio and the impressive amount of work he has created over the years....

Big Plans

So Tomorrow we plan on building a wall. Bruce is picking me up at 7:15 am. we are going to go on a materials run and then heading over to the space to hopefully build a wall. One thing we still need to do that we haven't yet is get our plans ( that kalene so expertly drafted) approved by the landlord... I hope they are in early...
untill tomorrow....
